Emerging Communications Acquires OKOMP Digital marketing division

LONDON – December 15, 2016 — Emerging Communications has acquired the digital marketing division of OKOMP, becoming one of the largest, and most experienced Chinese digital marketing agencies in the UK.
There is now significant demand from UK and European brands to export to China, or target Chinese customers within Europe, and Emerging Communication’s wanted to strengthen its web and search offering to offer a full digital team.
This acquisition will re-inforce Emerging Communications as a leader in the Chinese digital marketing area, and as part of this growth strategy, it will strengthen their web and search teams, 2 areas in significant demand from brands looking to target Chinese customers.
The price of purchase is undisclosed.
The Chinese digital marketing division of OKOMP, will be amalgamated into the existing Emerging Communications team in London and Shanghai. Emerging Communications has appointed Evonne Guan, Digital Account Director at OKOMP to join the senior team in the London office. Evonne will head up the Client Services division and brings with her a wealth of senior account management and business development experience.
